WDP3W LG Laundry Pedestal - Whitestar rating 5DJApril 6, 2009The pedestal is great extra storage space. It also makes the machine so you do not have to bend down to remove and load your laundry. I bought it to go with the LG washer Dryer combo machine (WM3988HWA). Initially I purchased the machine from another retailer when I ordered the pedestal I did not think it would arrive in time before the machine. Well the pedestal arrived in a shorter time frame than mentioned on US appliance website. They said it would take 3-4 weeks. It actually arrive with in a week and a half via UPS. The box was all banged up but the product in side was in excellent condition, no damages. Also US appliance provides you with the tracking number so you can go to the postal carriers website and track your shipment. I noticed the machine alone has minimal vibration however with the pedestal the machine vibrates a little more. This was a concern of mine since I bought the machine for hook up at the kitchen sink in an apartment where the landlord does not know I have it. So I do not want the neighbors to complain about the machine vibrating. So far so good. BTW I love my new machine and pedestal no more laundry mat :) To minimize vibration the machine and the pedestal have adjustable legs that you can change length in order to level the machine.

It puts the machine at the perfect level so there is no need to bend down. Socks no longer disappear - they are easy to see and to take out of the machine without having to almost crawl into the drum to find them.
