Fan runs continually and very loud while using bake feature. This was not disclosed at time of purchase or outlined in manual. Would not have purchased if I was told about loud/distracting sound. Door does not have broil stop position even though manual says it does. Installation instructions mention leveling device (wheels) to ease leveling but not retailer knows nothing of this option or if available. Looking to return even if I lose part of purchase price.

Bought this dual fuel range as a package with a fridge, and dish washer, at a very good price. We both love to cook, and demand a gas cooktop and electric oven. The cooktop is 4 burners, with plenty of room for large pots. It doesn't have the big grill burner in the center but honestly we grill outside on the barbecue or put a separate grill over 2 burners on the cooktop. A lot easier to clean then a built in grill surface. The right front burner is 17,000 btu more than enough to handle the big pots. The cooktop surface is black porcelain which cannot easily be scratched like Stainless Steel cook tops. That was our top priority in choosing this range. The oven fan does come on when baking and broiling, but it is a minor annoyance. The oven broils with the door closed, and our smoke detector has yet to come on. All new electric ovens use about 25% less power, so it does take a little longer to heat up. The oven temperature can be adjusted up or down, so if you think 350 degrees is really not 350 degrees you can raise the temp in the oven and the control will still read 350. The gas an electric hookups must be located in a fairly small space at the bottom of the range, to allow the unit to get close to the wall. Word of caution, purchase the unit first or take a picture of the back with measurements, before installing the gas line and electric wiring.

This range was bought to replace an existing Gallery Dual Fuel range. Have not liked it since the day I got it. Number one complaint is the noise. The positioning of the fan and the fact that it runs the entire heating time that the oven is used and cools down is completely distracting. The quick boil burner is a neat option except it gets the overhead microwave so hot that it automatically turns on that fan. If I could return this model, I would. Would definitely think twice about getting another Frigidaire.

Had to change from natural gas to propane and could not find a "certified" Frigidaire repair specialist to assist. One of the propane orifices stripped and could not be removed. Stove looks nice but that was the limit with my experience. Went with another brand. Maybe your experience might be different.

I've cooked on this stove for 4 years now and everyday I dislike it more. It's slow to preheat and doesn't heat to what you set it on. It's always been a few degrees off. The components around the burners fall off and the burners are diminished. It's hard to clean and splatters get between the glass. It doesn't fit flush to wall. It's loud. It's just awful. I would not recommend this product.

Comments:

Have issues with burners sooting bottom of pans. 3 calls to Frigidaire and they cannot get service tech to show up to fix problem.....even though range is within factory warranty period. What good is their warranty? Am I supposed to make the repair myself? Very disappointed and will likely never purchase this brand again.

Best of both worlds

Had this for a little over a month now and really love it. Gives you the best of both worlds - precise gas cooktop and excellent oven. My only negative comments would be how slow the oven is to heat up, and how food particles get stuck in the gap in the control panel. Otherwise this is an awesome range.

We purchased this to fit in an existing space, it was also a compromise between us (he likes gas and I like electric) , It is spacious, easy to use and easy to clean up.

I'm really enjoying my Frigidaire Gallery 30" Slide-In Dual Fuel Range. It has a wonderful heating ability in both the oven and the range burners. It was very difficult to find a dual fuel slide in range with a black porcelein burner pan (under the burners). It is very easy to keep clean compared to a stainless steel burner pan. It looks very professional. Only drawback is that the burner knobs feel and look like plastic. I would have rather had knobs that had more substance to them. I would have also liked a warming drawer at the bottom instead of just a storage drawer.

i bought my slide-in range a month ago. it performs well...my only problem is the black strip/lip on the side that touches the adjacent plam countertop. it gets too hot while/after cooking. i'm worried that it will burn my countertop. any solution? do you have any rubber that we can put under it?

I have cooked/baked on an electric range for 36 years and I am throughly enjoying the features of my new dual range. I love the instant heat and the ability to use my cast iron cookware. I have only used my new range for a few weeks, so I'm still learning. I enjoy the looks of my new range and especially having the controls upfront. I do wish I could lower the flame and simmer foods like I did with my electric range. And we were disappointed that we couldn't get a center griddle.
