Installed a month ago. I like this cooktop! Several things about it appeal to me, but number one is the simple pan design that makes cleanup easy. I purchased the highest end model to match a built in fridge and wall over. This product looks great in the kitchen. The light up knobs are a real plus, as is the great gas flow and multiple burner choices. Negatives are few and minor. The included skillet designed to sit on the burners is way too narrow... doubled or tripled in size, it might be functional. The only quibble I have design wise with this cooktop are the markings designating which knob controls which burner. They should be more prominent... as is they are small and hard to see for kids and older eyes. Otherwise, great product.

Before I started my kitchen remodel I knew that I wanted to replace my old electric cooktop with a new KitchenAid gas cooktop. The only problem was that I didn't have a gas line installed for it in the kitchen. I crawled under my house through cold, thick mud to install a gas line for this cooktop and I couldn't be happier with it. The even heat burner is really nice. The power burner boils water amazingly fast. Couldn't be happier with my new kitchen and my new cooktop with it.

I've had my new cooktop for about a month and love it!!! Replaced a 15 year old GE gas cooktop and the difference is night and day! I love the different heat levels of the burners, how fast it starts up, how easy it is to clean, plus it looks beautiful! I researched various brands and I highly recommend this cooktop for this price range. I'm very pleased with KitchenAid and am in the process of updating all my appliances to KitchenAid.

Stovetop does all things well, however, the front grill cover should be larger to accommodate larger pans.

Two burners, center and left front (20000 btu and 12000 btu) are the only ones that heat water at an acceptable rate. The only trouble is that they are large burners and the flame for a mid sized saucepan tends to run up the outside of the pot. Handles and stuff get hot. Ok lets move the pot to the right front burner,10000 btu, For example, my teapot that used to heat up to 170Deg F in just over 3 min, on my Dacor back burner (I replaced), now takes over 5 minutes. Forget using the other two back burners (7000 and 6000 btu) are in my opinion are there for decoration. One can always turn down the heat on a higher btu burner but you cant make a low output burner cook any faster. If you like gas cooking because it is fast and and you do a lot of cooking this is not the cooktop for you. I wish I could send mine back

We bought this cook top to put into our newly built house. It was reviewed highly, and I loved the look. I couldn't be happier with it, and the rest of my Kitchenaid appliances (full kitchen suite). This was the first time I've used a separate cooktop, and I really love it. It feels heavy and sturdy. The cast iron grates are very durable. I love the grill top that came with it. Honestly, I couldn't find a negative about this appliance if I tried. I LOVE it!!!!
