I love the smaller top oven for baking instead of the larger one that I use when I cook the five loaves of bread, or need two different temps for a meal. The only problem I have is it is hard to bring the rack all the way out. The oven mitt gets stuck between the rack and the door. I bought a push/pull stick to help with that. The other thing that I did not think about, was that the two top grates are heavy and awkward to move when you have to clean the stove top. I can be a little messy cooking :( I love how well the ovens are insulated. The kitchen does not get nearly as hot when I am using them.

Comments:

This is a great range with two smaller ovens. We have a 48" double oven range in our primary home but due to space constraints we chose the 36" double Kitchenaid. I call it my "baby ovens." It gives you the capability of two ovens in a very small space. The range looks and works great... I highly recommend it!

Comments:

This is a beautiful appliance, but after using the upper oven only a half dozen times the enamel on the inside floor of that oven broke and cracked off in chards that were sharp as glass. Kitchenaid replaced the oven. However the new oven has been used only 2 times and has done the same thing. I am currently in the process of reporting the problem again. It appears that a bubble of air, moisture, grease must have been present when the enamel was baked on and allowed just enough space that the normal heat causes the coating of enamel to crack. I will praise Kitchenaid for standing up for me as a loyal consumer and offering, without too much argument, to replace the product. I hope we can work out a trade again.

I love all the features, griddle especially. Self clean is a BIG plus. The only additional comment I would add is the shelves musts be removed for cleaning and must be cleaned manually.

Two ovens but one timer? Am I missing how I can set the timer (not the COOK timer) independently for each oven, top and bottom, when each is being used simultaneously? Surely this basic option was not overlooked?

Comments:

"Satin Glide" does not apply here! The lower rack in the lower oven sticks horribly and I fight it constantly. I've burned myself multiple times trying to get it to work when the oven is hot!! The other features are great and I love the 5 burners, but I avoid using that rack-what good is a double oven if you can't use all the racks??

Great combination of a gas stove top and double electric ovens. Looks like a much more expensive range but at a reasonable price. Easy install too. Cook top has great flexibility unlike the all electric unit we had for +5 years. Never got used to the electric stove.

Comments:

After having a glass cooktop for several years (came with the house) it is so refreshing to be cooking with gas on the stove but still have the even temperature of baking in the electric ovens. Honestly, I don't know why there are not more dual fuels on the market, but this one is a winner.
