I bought this a month ago and love the ability to use either size oven or both if the need arises. The small oven is great for cooking for a few people. The lower oven has the convection feature which I like when baking cookies, cakes, etc. The design of the exterior is very professional looking. The stainless steel handles and knobs are very attractive against the white exterior. Both ovens have the heating elements covered which makes for easy cleaning. I am soooo happy I decided to upgrade to the KitchenAid range!!!

First new range in 18 years. I really like the different sized heating elements on the stove. The smaller over is perfect for 13x9 pans and single sheets for baking. Nice to not heat up a large oven.

I have not owned this range a long time, but I'm very happy with it so far. The "ultra" burner heats up very quickly, and the oven baked a cake evenly and well, better than other ovens I've had. It's a very attractive range with great features.

Second oven since Nov.

Comments:

Original oven delivered in November 2016. 3 months later we used the short cleaning cycle. After cooling we noticed that the blue porcelain enamel had separated in the front corner well in the upper over. Customer service tried to tell us it was cosmetic. I consider 4 and 6 inch pieces to be "cosmetic chipping". After talking to 2 more "supervisors" and having a service rep come out and tell us there was a chip pen that they could send us, we got on the phone and were referred to another rep who asked us to send pix. We were then informed that our case was being referred to the "product review board". After about a week we were informed that a new range would be sent. 10 days later the replacement arrived and so far everything seems to be ok although we are reluctant to use the cleaning cycle. Having had this problem, I have to say the range has performed to our satisfaction. Having had glass cook tops before we are accustomed to the cleaning process, even on the smallest spills use CERAMA BRIGHT and the scraper. The upper oven and the lower convection oven have cooked well. After reading other reviews, there does seem to be a manufacturing defect in the porcelain coating process. Therefore the quality of manufacturing is the reason for the low rating. My advice to Kitchen Aid-Whirlpool: when you get a common complaint such as this don't try and pass it off as "cosmetic". The big wigs need to get out into the plant and try and figure out if there is a real problem. I realize that a certain reject rate is acceptable, just make sure the customer service people are properly informed and have a consistent solution for these complaints. I was involved with customer complaints for over 40 years and learned that it was better and cheaper to solve the complaint immediately rather than making the customer feel like it was their fault. I give the product a 4 and in our case customer service a 5 after 3 misses.

Awesome stove! I am so glad we picked kitchenaid. It's great using the smaller stove when you just have one pan to cook.

I love my new stove. I only have a couple things to complain about. The back burners don't get hot very fast in comparison to the front burners. Not sure if that's normal. Also it is kind of hard to bend down so low on the lower oven lower rack. It almost feels like there needs to be a pedestal underneath however that would make the stove fairly high when you have a microwave over top and would not be counter height anymore. So I know that may not be possible but I am impressed with how awe some it is overall. I wish the upper oven had convection though, not just lower.

Have only had a couple of weeks, but so far it's fabulous. I didn t know that convection could make such a difference, and there's nothing better than having two ovens! The 12" adjustable element is fantastic. So far the only thing I'd change would be the ultra element-it is a large burner and the size can't be adjusted.

What can I say, it's a range. It looks nice in the kitchen. As far as the performance, the stove top will take some getting used to. My old Whirpool seemed to have a better heat range when using the burners. This one doesn't seem to get hot enough to use frying pan unless the knob is 3/4 hot. I used to fry eggs on my old stove just under half. It boils water fast, but not on all burners. Like I said, getting used to it. The oven works great. The top oven is very handy. Used to have a toaster oven, but now, I use the top oven and have cleared up counter space. Happy I bought it. If you pay MSRP, in my opinion, not worth it. I received discounts as well as rebates since I bought an entire kitchen set.

As Thanksgiving was approaching, I ventured into the Big Box stores and started thinking about new appliances. I was advised that KitchenAid was made in the US and that parts, repairs were easier and less expensive than other name brands. Then I saw it - the double oven electric range and it was love at first sight. We installed it the night before Thanksgiving and I cooked our holiday turkey in the convection oven. First time I'd used convection cooking - it was great! The turkey was delicious and I loved that I could cook smaller items in the top oven, even more items on the range while the bird was roasting in the bottom. I love my new KitchenAid appliances (got the super quiet dishwasher and microwave too) - they're amazing!
