Don't waist your money. We bought a Bosh (SHE68T56UC/07) model because our old model Bosh worked so well. We didn't even bother to look at any other brands because it did such a great job. What a let down it was after doing the first load of dishes. Everything came out wet and nothing was clean. I called Bosh and they sent out a service guy. He said everything was working properly but Bosh had made the new machines more efficient using less water and smaller pump motors. We now pre wash all our dishes and just use the machine to rinse and sanitize the dishes. After contacting Bosh about the problem they refused to do anything about it. I will never buy another Bosh product again.

Bosch is by far the best

Comments:

We have owned several brands over the years including GE (horrible!),Whirlpool, Fisher Paykel and when we lived in the Netherlands, Bosch. By far the Bosch was the best. We only went with the F&P due to two washersin one seeming to be more flexible. Yet we had leaks that couldn't be repaired and it was noisy. This washer is so quiet, we always have to check the light to see if someone turned it on. And it gets everything we throw at it brilliantly clean. We wash our pots by hand just because it's just as fast, and we believe that it is a bad use of Dishwasher space to throw in pots. However, for fun I tossed in one used for tomato based sauce and another for pasta. No rinsing or scrubbing. Both came out just as clean as doing it by hand, and dry with no spots. We use this washer occasionally with our very nice Riedel glasses and they come out sparkling clean with no spots. Normally we use a special wine glass cleaner and hand wash them. We could get lazy and wash them every time with this washer! We have already recommended it to over 10 families, that's how impressed we are with it.

Comments:

The most common complaint about this dishwasher is that it doesn't dry properly since it doesn't have a heating element. I bought this anyway to replace my Kenmore Elite Ultra wash. I never used the heated dry anyway, so I didn't think it was important. This dishwasher not only cleans better than any I've had, my dishes are also dry. I do use the Sanitize option as recommended. I almost always use the delay feature and when I wake up in the morning, or come home from work, the dishes are clean and dry. The only con was that it was a bit harder to install as the electrical isn't located where it normally is on other dishwashers. Other than that I would highly recommend this model.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it. It also cleans very well and does a great job of drying the dishes, which seems to be a problem with most washers. I love the third shelf that allows you to wash the long utensils that never seem to fit anywhere else. I also like the rack for the plates, since they are close together it fits more plates. My only complaint, and this is more of an annoyance, is that you have to set the washing mode every time you turn it on if you don't want to use their default mode. I would expect it to remember the setting form the last run.
